I'm from a little nothing town in the southwest part of Missouri, a part of the Ozarks, land of hillbillies and rednecks. I'm in the middle between
Springfield, where Brad Pitt is from and is the biggest city in the southern half of the state, and Branson, which used to be a nice little place with a nice
little amusement park and now is an overblown country music tourist hell. It's a land of hills, trees and caves and lakes, gorgeous country.

Which town? My dad lives in that area as well, and now my aunt lives in Branson. It did get kinda big, didn't it?

She says nowhere, but the Ozarks are gorgeous, and she probably lives in one of the best "nowhere"'s in the lower 48.
But I definitely agree on what's become of Branson. We get lots of seniors that want to go there for long weekends. |
