I know it's a stupid thing, but sometimes I feel unbearably homesick for a place that no longer exists. I chose to leave the country I knew to go with my
Master, and He has promised me that I will be settled where He came from. But sometimes, the journey seems so long.
There's nowhere to go back to, but that doesn't stop me from missing what I remember.

I feel that all the time, and there is probably no going back. Once you relocate to another country, you are displaced for life, never again really belonging
in neither. But on the other side, if i'd stayed where i was, my life would be much poorer and i'd never even know it, and the same might be true for
you?

Now i realise its the opposite. My heart belongs here with my family, its my mind that wanders back home. Where i am is a great place but it will never be my place. On the other hand, i can always go back when i want, there are plenty who can never go home. All the best to you Kitty, even though i don't know you! |
