Just a mere 60 days ago I lost my beautiful bride of 23+ years whom I absolutely adored. There has been so much transpire since then that it seems that I am just now taking my first deep breath. I cannot express in words how much I miss her. I have made some good and some not so good decisions since then. Those I have to live with. All I can do is try to do better. I want to thank Colleen, Shelly, Patty and Debra in particular and all of the rest of you in general for all your concern...

I would like to request, if you would, prayers for the daughter of a good friend of mine.

Hannah was born with bladder exstrophy. Which means the bladder is on the outside of the body when a child is born, this, as you might imagine causes a bunch of other problems as well. To make long story short Hannah is 11 years old, and today just came out of surgery number 33. She is in Childrens Hospital in Knoxville Tennessee in very bad shape.

Been twenty years ago this day, that I lost one of the best friends that I've ever had, just wanted to take a moment and post a tribute to someone who even though I only knew for a short while had such a tremendous impact on my life. Tis a very sad day here at angusland.............Angus has lost his wife Linda early this morning. She passed away in her sleep. We are all saddened with this loss. I talked with Angus briefly on my way into work and he asked me to post this. My heart aches with this tragic news and my prayers go out to Angus.

Yep thats right. In a few hours Linda will be having major surgery again. This time to fix the fucked up mess the doctor made the last time. The stablization wiring they used to close her chest broke not long after the heart surgery. Well, needless to say everything has continued to move around and not heal properly. So this afternoon at about 2 PM she is supposed to have that fixed. I will let you all know how things turn out.

I'm worried about my Aunt Mildred. She's 90, and she's in the hospital.

She has a Lifeline device, but wasn't wearing her call button. I'm not sure how it happened, but she got trapped in a broken chair in her house for five hours. She was shouting and banging with her cane until the neighbor on the other side of the wall checked with her other neighbor who has a spare key. They found her, and called the squad. Squad couldn't free her from the broken...

JL is going into the hospital this morning...now please understand...he is ok...he's just got some issues with his shoulder that need to be taken care of by surgerical means...he was in an accident on his motorcycle about 2 years before he and I met...so it was bout 7 years ago...and had to have much more major surgery than this...but unfortunately the injury was such that he was told he may occasionally have to have procedures like he's gonna have tomorrow...he's got to have...

You all have seen the previous thread about my brothers cancer ....

He got sick a week ago and couldn't keep food down and they kept saying

it was a drug interaction.

My sister in law took him to the doctor yesterday morning and they admitted him.

The doctors gave him 72 hrs.

I just got a call this afternoon that he made a turn for the worse.

Seems that the cancer enter his spinal colum and the spinal fluid carried the cancer to...

Thursday night, my Mom, did not feel well,.... when my sister you control your blood pressure was very high (250 ),... decided to call the medical emergency.
She was taken to hospital, and has entered the Intensive Care Unit with a diagnosis of pneumonia.
Although yesterday dawn, she was very delicate, (had been several hours, with very high blood pressure, plus the bad ventilation of his lungs and his brain cells), all this has no consequences, and it is OK, but is still in...

I know I haven't been around much, but we have been prety overwhelmed with some bad news within our family.
My older brother was diagnosed with cancer on Nov 18th. They found a large tumor on one of his kidneys. He was in a lot of pain and lost about 45lbs. He was so enemic and run down. He looked awful. He had surgery on Dec 30th and they removed the tumor along with his kidney. They only found one feeder and was able to remove that, but they also found smaller tumors on his right...

cause she knows how much everyone else is dealing with but I think she could use it.

Monday night her dad's back was really hurting. It has been bothering him for a few days but he finally gave in and went to the ER. He's stubborn like Lyss about that sort of thing but her's is cause she hates hospitals and most doctors.

They thought at first it was a kidney stone so they did a few blood tests and stuff and a Catscan. The blood tests and that came back fine but...

My mom has been diagnosed with cancer. All we know is that it is a form of lymphoma. She goes in for a PET scan and CT scan on Monday. She has a dr appointment on Thursday where I am guessing they will tell her where it is at, what kind of lymphoma and what stage it is in. Mom is one of those people that is too good for words. Anyway, all Prayers and Good Vibes would be more appreciated than you could know. Thanks, Chelle.

Thanksgiving has come and gone, The man who always gave the blessing was no longer there. How I miss my dad. My mom was so very sad without him. It's strange though, that I felt his blessing without his touch. Say a little prayer for us that Christmas will be a time of joy for us, and not a time of sorrow.

I have some sad news. I am here in Scotland, and have been here a week now. I was staying at Iain's house. He's not been well lately, bad infection in his good leg, etc. Anyway, he had a home care person who would come in every morning to check on him. I was sleeping when she came in this morning. Long story short, Iain died this morning. It was very unexpected. We'd been having a wonderful holiday...
