As it was almost instantaneously decided, the new daily card reading will be from the "Wisdom of the Crone" deck that I've had for a while.

This deck was sort of designed for a single-card reading and has some beautiful images on the cards.

Just like the other daily cards, I sit with the deck in my hands, concentrate on receiving a message for the day... shuffle three times and spread out the cards. Then I draw the card of the day.

A friend of mine asked me today about dedications. She is a solitary witch, as am I, and all I could tell her was what I had done at my dedications. Daily Nature-Speak Oracle Card

I used to do a daily Goddess card and daily Animal Oracle card. I did them for years. After so long, it began to seem like a chore. And after doing them for months without much heart or feeling into them, I stopped. But, I told Angus I'd be back with another daily card (eventually).
